MembershipMembership is restricted to employees described by the National Labor Relations Act (9B3) to active or retired, armed or unarmed, security officers, security guards, security couriers, public safety officers, detention officers, special police officers or other employees charged with the protection and/or transportation of property or, as supervisors, with the orderly administration of such security services, who are employed in the United States of America under any of the separate laws of either the United States or any of its states. Our current union membership locals include armored car guards, hospital security officers, federal and state facility security officers, special police officers, park and public safety officers as well as detention and correction officers.
Our Mission
To promote the welfare of our members, including greater acknowledgement of their professionalism, betterment of working conditions and financial security for the individual members and their dependents; to endorse, support and propose legislation beneficial to our members and oppose any legislation contrary to the members' mutual well-being and financial security.
